Here's the first Valentine's day post of the year. This colorful cherry popcorn was a breeze to make.
I popped about 1/3 cup of popcorn (in oil) and then spread it out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
For the flavor I melted cherry flavored chips and some additional pink candy melts for color.
Then I gather up Valentine's Day sugar decoration. Red and pink non-pareils, hearts, lips and XOs.
And sprinkled them over the popcorn while the chips and melts were still wet.
When everything hardend. Break up into pieces, place in a bowl and serve.
A crunchy, sugary, cherry pink and red Valentine's Day snack.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, the twinkie croutons really got me. I love coming up with ways to frighten dinner guests.
Adorable. I just read about a popcorn 'grits' made with popped popcorn, wet and pushed through a sieve with tons of butter... sounded so weird it had to be good (it was also from a great chef so...) Yours is adorable.
