Chocolate Dipped Pumpkin Pie Spice Graham Crackers

by Lora Wiley-Lennartz
It’s the day after Thanksgiving and most Americans have sworn off food until Christmas. Of course now is the perfect opportunity to tempt you with these delicious graham crackers.
I used Smitten Kitchen’s graham cracker recipe found here. Two teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice were added to the recipe.
Instead of cutting then with a knife I used a cutter to cut out the crackers. I can’t draw a straight line with a pen or a knife so I knew using a cutter was my best option.

I swapped out pumpkin pie spice and sugar mix Instead of sprinkling them with mix of cinnamon and sugar before baking.
Then of course, there was nothing left to do after they were baked but to dip them in melted chocolate.
And add some sprinkles/jimmies in autumn colors.
The fun part was getting creative and making different styles.
The pumpkin pie spice added something special to regular honey graham cracker flavor. Definitely a good post Thanksgiving treat to eat with leftovers. Especially if your relatives ate all the pie.

I will have to make these myself. As for cutting, use a metal ruler and a pizza cutter. That is what I use :). Love the edge on these crackers though! Very pretty.

I swore off food…and then I made hand pies. So…that makes sense.

These are such a cute treat! Simple yet probably totally addictive.

We don't celebrate thanks giving here, so I haven't over indulged in delicious tasty foods and am very much tempted by these. I'm sorry you ran out of pie 🙂
